Q: Do you deliver outside the CBD of adelaide(Interstate or overseas)?

A: Yes. Check out or delivery section for more information. You can also arrange your own courier.

Q: Can I bring my pets into the store?

A: Yes! We welcome pets in our store, how else can you find the perfect fit for a dog coat or harness? Please try to restrain them from eating the treats though. :-)

Q: What >insert animal here< do you have at the moment?

A: One of the most common questions. You'll simply have to give us a call to find out what animals we have available at the moment. Although we stock a huge range of animals, they unfortunately only breed at certain time of the year. Kittens, for example are usually only available from September to February.

Q: My >insert animal here< has a >insert problem here<, what can I do?

A: Any problems you have detected should be dealt with straight away, give us a call for some advice, or make an appointment to see your vet. Although some problems may seem minor, they could lead to more serious problems or even be fatal if left unattended.

Q: Can I get a Refund?

A: In compliance with the retail association legislation we offer a money back refund if the product/s you purchase are faulty or didn't do what we said they would. However, we go a step further by allowing you to return products even if you simply change your mind! A few conditions are that, the goods must be in original condition, you must have your receipt and we will only refund to another product or voucher.

Q: What about a warranty or guarantee?

A: We support any warranty or guarantee on all products as per their manufacturer. i.e., A Fluval Filter comes with a 2 year warranty, when you purchase from us we will fill out the information for you to be sure your covered! No worries.

Q: Why can't I take animals home on a hot day from your store?

A: We will not allow the removal of any animals from the store if the outside temperature exceeds 33 degrees celsius. This complies with PIAA (Pet Industry Association of Australia Ltd) code of practice for the responsible care and management of all animals which P & K Pets are proud to be an long time accredited member of. You can still purchase, hold or place a deposit on any animals in the store.

Q: When I print from your site, It doesn't print what I see on screen. Why?

A: Our site uses frames, if you are using internet explorer follow this procedure to print what you see:

  • Select "File" and then "Print" (rather than pressing the print button)
  • Press the "Options" tab
  • In the "Print Frames" section, select "As laid out on screen"
  • Press "OK"to print!

Q: Do you buy back second hand aquariums or accessories?

A: Unfortunately we no longer deal with second hand goods or accept any 'trade in'.

Q: Will you buy my >insert animal here< and what can I get for it?

A: We do buy young animals for resale, mainly only puppies, rabbits and birds. Please give us a call before coming in to see if we will accept your animal and what you can get for it.

Q: Where can I park my car when visiting P & K Pets?

A: Simply park on Magill Rd, but please take note of the clearway signs on both sides of the road before parking. Check out our location.

Q: Do you stock >insert product here<, I cant see it on your site?

A: Not all of our products are on the site, please give us a call to see if we stock the product your looking for. We can order products in that we would not normally stock and also suggest a similar product as an option.

Q: Do you have lay-by's?

A: Yes, we offer lay-by in our store. Minimum purchase for lay-by's is $30AUD.

Q: Will you hold products or animals till I can collect them?

A: We will hold products and animals for a very limited time only. However we will hold them for longer if you leave a deposit, and special arrangements can be made.
