Fish Ornaments

At P & K Pets you can find a large range of ornaments for your aquarium. Ornaments add something intriguing or amusing to your tanks and makes it look more interesting, especially if you have a single, well planned theme.

Most modern ornaments are made from resin, however they can also be made from porcelain, ceramic, acrylic, plaster and more. All ornament are designed to be non toxic and safe for any aquarium. We do recommend cleaning them before use however, just to ensure any residues left over from the manufacturing process are gone.

Some ornaments are also functional. Air operated ornaments usually involve movement and are interesting or amusing to watch. They also aerate the water similar to air stones, depending on their design. Other larger ornament often have holes and provide a great place for fish to hide or swim through. This can help increase their feeling of security and hence health. For some species this is very important, and they will become stressed if they have nowhere to hide.

We have some examples of ornaments below, however, we have much more in stock and they change their designs quite regularly. Come in and take a look!

From happy fish to other interesting characters, we have a plenty of unusual and amusing ornaments. And don't forget the classic sign post..... No Fishing!

Skulls, cross bones and skeletons add a spooky element to your tank.

Left over from ship wrecks, guns, cannons, and chests of gold etc. These will work well with an actual ship wreck somewhere else in the tank.

These ornaments are air operated. For example the coffin opens periodically to reveal a skeleton, or the crab waves his arms around. Interesting and functional.

Apart from stocking real driftwood, we also carry replica wood made from resin. Some wood ornaments also have plants embedded in them and look fantastic.

Sunken ships galore. At least half of our ornaments are some sort of sunken ship. We can't work out the connection?

Some old ships, some new. It seems the larger the ship the more detail it has and the better it looks.

We also carry some huge ornaments for very large aquariums. This one pictures is over a metre in length.

Rocks with plants. Some of these ornaments look excellent as the plants are integrated with the rock and moss. These would also look good on the shelf, or perhaps under a bonsai?

Some small displays are specifically designed for fish bowls.
