Water Testing

The most common problem in aquariums is water quality. This is the number one killer of fish and plants. If any of your fish have died, or they look unhealthy or inactive, DON"T wait to see what happens. Check your water quality immediately!

Checking the water quality of your aquarium should be done on a weekly basis and after every water change. This is required to maintain a healthy aquarium.

P & K has a wide variety of water testing products in store. We also offer a water testing service. If you don't have your own testing equipment, bring a sample of your water to the store in a jar and we will test it on the spot for you. Once we know the status of the water we can also advise on treatment if there are any problems.
